SAP Integrations with Third-Party Logistics Providers

We successfully delivered multiple SAP integration projects with third-party logistics (3PL) providers across European markets, supporting complex supply chain operations for international FMCG businesses. Our work focused on adapting SAP SD, MM, WM and QM processes to different warehouse operating models, streamlining communication between SAP and external logistics systems, and ensuring reliable end-to-end business processes. Each integration brought its own operational and technical challenges. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we designed and implemented tailored solutions aligned with the specific requirements of each business and logistics partner.

SAP SD/MM Customization

Adapted sales, procurement, stock transport and inventory management processes to different 3PL operating models. Customized specific business scenarios, including scrapping and sample orders, pricing procedures and billing where required.

Warehouse Management & 3PL Integration

Designed and optimized warehouse-related processes, including goods receipts, picking, stock movements and inventory reconciliation. Aligned SAP warehouse operations with external 3PL systems to support accurate and timely data exchange.

Wir haben zahlreiche SAP-Integrationsprojekte mit Third-Party-Logistics-Dienstleistern (3PL) in verschiedenen europäischen Märkten erfolgreich umgesetzt und komplexe Supply-Chain-Prozesse internationaler FMCG-Unternehmen unterstützt. Im Mittelpunkt standen die Anpassung der SAP-Prozesse in SD, MM, WM und QM an unterschiedliche Lagermodelle, die Optimierung des Datenaustauschs zwischen SAP und externen Logistiksystemen sowie stabile durchgängige Geschäftsprozesse. Jede Integration brachte eigene betriebliche und technische Anforderungen mit sich. We successfully drove the design, customization, and technical implementation of domestic B2B E-Invoicing and EDI integrations across Belgium, Germany, and Poland. The project focused on automating accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoicing processes, ensuring full fiscal compliance and establishing direct interface communication via the Edicom (Ediwin) EDI platform.

End-to-End E-Invoicing & EDI Mapping (Edicom Ediwin)

Designed and configured comprehensive EDI mapping logic for both inbound (purchase) and outbound (sales) invoice flows using Ediwin.

Ensured strict adherence to country-specific e-invoicing standards and formats across Belgian, German, and Polish legal jurisdictions.

Technical Interface Specifications & SAP Customization

Authored detailed functional and technical specifications for custom SAP EDI interfaces.

Defined and configured new SAP SD output types, condition tables, access sequences, and output determination logic.

Tailored and modified standard invoice printouts and layouts to meet local tax regulations and customer-specific EDI mandates.

Coordinated end-to-end integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for domestic invoicing workflows across the three markets.
